Hi and welcome to Two Dog Designs!

My name is Emily Rennie and this is my company. I was born in south Jackson, MS and raised by a single mother in both Jackson, MS and Lake Mary, FL. My mother is an incredible artist in her own right and I will always claim that’s where I get my vision from. I am inspired by the color usage, imagery, and whimsy of Disney Legend, Mary Blair. My daughter, Maggie, inspires me in my everyday life. Her joy, infectious laughter, and beautiful soul make me strive to make not only our own lives a little brighter, but the world at large.

My chosen art medium is textiles and I tend to lean towards home décor and small gift items. I love color and to me, the brighter, the better. My favorite part when starting a new project is picking the fabric. If I’m lucky enough to get to use multiple pieces of fabric in a project, I really love to pick contrasting patterns and colors to make my work stand out.

Almost all of my projects are one of a kind pieces. I prefer it this way as I want my work to be memorable and unique. While I do enjoy making custom items, not everything I create can be customized. Please feel free to drop me a message and I will try my hardest to create your vision.
